Thematic Seminars

The conferences, seminars, workshops and other events give a further dimension to the research activities of the Centre for European Studies. They are held throughout the year in various locations around Europe. These events are often co-hosted with the Centre’s member foundations, so ensuring that the members are actively engaged in both research activities and communication. Each event stems from the five research themes of the Centre and aims to broaden and inspire the Centre’s research projects. Previous events have offered both a platform for exchange and discussion as well as fresh knowledge and ideas.

The Centre for European Studies gathers together top-level academics, experts, politicians and those at the helm of the EU institutions for its conferences and seminars. These events and so the research of the Centre, benefit from contributions at the highest levels. The Centre organises a number of events covering a wide range of outstanding issues on the pan-European political and social agenda. These ranged from demographic developments to youth policies, from religious dialogue to climate change, from enlargement to regional initiatives. In engaging the widest possible range of target audiences, both demographically and geographically, the Centre for European Studies is able to form a truly European perspective and is THINKING EUROPE all the way!
